Pinterest Disclaimer

Pinterest is where I share visual stories for Plixters. Pins are designed to inspire outfits, show texture and color ideas, and point you to the full context on my site. I create Pins from original photography, styled graphics, and sometimes concept images. Everything is curated by me and reflects my personal perspective.

Image creation and enhancements

I edit photos for brightness, color balance, cropping, retouching of dust or background clutter, and overall composition. I may also use design tools to add text overlays, borders, or collages so key details are easy to spot at a glance.

Use of artificial imagery

At times I illustrate concepts using AI-generated or AI-assisted visuals. These are mood or styling references, not literal product depictions. If a Pin is primarily AI-based or significantly altered, I note that in the Pin title or description so you understand it is conceptual.

What you see vs. real life

Colors, finishes, and textures can look different in person due to lighting, screens, and edits. Fabric drape, fit, and makeup payoff may vary by body type, skin tone, climate, and application. Treat Pins as inspiration first. For specific products, check the full post on plixters.com where I explain how something performed for me and what I would change next time.

Styling methods shown in Pins

Pins may feature flat lays, mirror selfies, outdoor shoots, studio-style backdrops, or quick try-ons. Some outfits are styled for photography rather than daily errands. In the related blog post, I include practical notes on comfort, movement, and wear time so you can adapt looks to your day.

Third-party images and rights

Most Pins use my original images. If I include a press image, lookbook photo, or retailer shot for context, I transform it with commentary, collages, or comparative notes and credit the brand in the post. All rights to original Plixters imagery are reserved. Do not edit or re-upload my images without written permission.

Watermarks and metadata

Some Pins include a discreet Plixters watermark or embedded metadata. This protects attribution and helps readers find the related article. Please do not remove or crop out watermarks.

Accessibility

I work to add clear, descriptive Pin titles and descriptions so the idea reads even without the image. When possible, I include alt-friendly phrasing, straightforward hashtags, and text overlays that convey the main takeaway.

Community standards

I keep Pins respectful, non-deceptive, and safe. I avoid clickbait claims, before-and-after gimmicks that mislead, and sensational language. I do not publish hateful, harassing, or adult content.

Timeliness and availability

Collections sell out, shades get renamed, and prices change. Pins remain as inspiration even if an item is gone. In posts, I suggest similar alternatives or ways to restyle pieces you already own.

Sponsored Pins and affiliate notes

If compensation or affiliate links are involved, I disclose that in the Pin description or on the linked page. Partnerships do not determine my opinions. I do not accept copy approval for my reviews.

Reporting concerns

If you believe a Pin is mislabeled, infringes your rights, or does not reflect the linked content, email hello@plixters.com with the Pin link and details. I review good-faith requests promptly and remove or update Pins when appropriate.

Requests to remove or credit images

For image owners, send takedown or credit requests to licensing@plixters.com. Include proof of ownership, the exact Pin URL, and the preferred credit line or action requested. I aim to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to this disclaimer

This Pinterest Disclaimer may be updated as creative tools, platform features, or my practices evolve. Updates take effect when posted. Your continued use of my Pins signifies acceptance of the current version.
