This policy explains how I create, credit, and protect images on plixters.com and associated social channels. I want you to know what is original, what is licensed, and how to request permission or report an issue.
Editing and creative treatments
I routinely edit my photos for exposure, color balance, crop, and cleanup of dust or background clutter. I sometimes create collages, add text overlays, or design layout frames to make details easier to see. These edits do not change the essence of the clothes, textures, or products shown.
AI generated or AI assisted imagery
At times I create concept visuals using artificial image tools or use AI to refine elements like background cleanup or composition. When an image is significantly AI generated or composited, I label it in the caption or post notes so you understand it is illustrative and not a literal product photograph.
Third party images I may use
Occasionally I include the following with clear context and transformation:
- Brand or retailer press images for product context
- Lookbook or campaign stills for trend discussion
- Product pack shots for comparison or shade identification
When I use third party imagery, I add commentary, cropping, side by sides, or graphic annotations that transform the original for review and education. I identify the brand or source within the post.
How to credit Plixters images
If you want to share a single image from a post for non commercial use:
- Include a visible credit line that reads Photo by Plixters or Photo by Alisa Khoruzhenko
- Reference the original article title on plixters.com
- Do not edit, crop out watermarks, apply filters, or remove metadata
- Do not use the image as your own social post cover, product listing, or advertisement
Any commercial use requires written permission in advance.
Licensing for commercial use
For editorial or commercial licensing, email licensing@plixters.com with:
- The image description or URL
- Intended use and placement
- Territories and duration
- Print run or expected impressions if relevant
I will reply with availability, rate options, and a simple license agreement. No usage is granted until both parties confirm in writing.
User generated content and submissions
If you share images with me for features or community roundups, you confirm that you own the rights and that I may display your image on plixters.com and related social channels with credit to the name you provide. You can revoke permission at any time by emailing licensing@plixters.com and I will remove the image where feasible.
Retailer images and trademarks
Product names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. If I display a retailer image, it is for commentary or review. Inclusion does not imply endorsement.
Takedown and credit requests
If you are a rights holder and believe an image on Plixters violates your rights or is missing proper credit, email takedown@plixters.com with:
- Proof of ownership
- The exact URL of the page and the file in question
- The action you request credit update, removal, or replacement
I review all good faith requests promptly and will respond with next steps.
Accuracy notes for colors and finishes
Colors and textures may vary across screens and lighting conditions. Where accuracy is critical, I provide descriptive notes in the post such as undertone, fabric weight, or finish. Treat images as visual reference and rely on the accompanying text for performance details.
Storage and archival
I retain original files and edit histories for my own records. If an image is updated for clarity or safety, I note the change in the post when material.
Requests for high resolution files
If you need a higher resolution version for approved use, email licensing@plixters.com with your license details. I provide only the resolution necessary for the agreed use.
