Community Guidelines

Plixters is a friendly, creative space for women who love style, beauty, and everyday inspiration. These guidelines explain how I keep conversations safe, useful, and kind. By reading, commenting, or submitting content to plixters.com or related social pages, you agree to follow these rules.

My promise to the community

I keep the tone welcoming, listen to feedback, credit collaborators, and correct mistakes when I find them. I moderate comments, DMs, and emails to protect readers from spam, harassment, or unsafe advice. I prioritize clarity, honesty, and respect.

Who this community is for

Plixters is intended for adults. You are welcome here whether you are a beginner at style or a seasoned experimenter. You do not need to agree with me to participate, but you do need to keep conversations constructive.

Be respectful

Disagree with ideas, not people. Use considerate language. No insults, mockery, or name-calling. Avoid generalizations about bodies, ages, or backgrounds. Assume good intent and ask clarifying questions before reacting.

No harassment or hate

Content that targets a person or group with slurs, stereotyping, threats, or humiliation is not allowed. This includes attacks based on gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, body size, or religion. Violations are removed and may result in a block.

Keep it safe and lawful

Do not share instructions for dangerous activities, illegal behavior, or self-harm. Do not post others’ private information, photos without permission, or anything that infringes intellectual property rights. If you reference someone else’s work, credit them clearly.

Stay on topic

Comments should relate to the post. If you have a separate question, start a new comment or email me. Repetitive off-topic replies, copy-paste rants, or derailments may be removed so discussions stay useful.

No spam or undisclosed promotion

Do not post ads, referral codes, coupon links, or repeated self-promotion. If you are a brand or creator and want to collaborate, email partnerships@plixters.com. Readers may recommend products in context, but disclose relationships if you have them and keep it helpful.

Civil, practical advice only

Fashion and beauty are personal. Share what worked for you without pressuring others. Avoid absolute claims. Skincare and makeup tips should include basic safety notes like patch testing or following product directions.

Body image and retouching

I do not alter body shape or size in my images. Minor edits for light, color, or distractions are allowed. Please avoid body shaming or prescriptive comments about weight or measurements. Style belongs to every body.

Image authenticity and AI

Some visuals may be enhanced with editing software or created with artificial image tools to demonstrate concepts. When an image is significantly AI generated or composited, I state that context in the post or caption. Do not reupload my images, remove watermarks, or feed them into training datasets without written permission.

How moderation works

I review comments regularly. I may edit for readability, remove sections that violate guidelines, or delete an entire comment if necessary. Severe or repeated violations can lead to a block across site comments and related social pages. I keep a record of moderation actions for consistency.

Reporting a problem

If you see unsafe or inappropriate content, email community@plixters.com with the page URL, the commenter’s display name, and a short description. I aim to review good-faith reports promptly and take action where appropriate.

Sharing your own photos or tips

If you submit an image or story for a roundup, you confirm you own it and grant me permission to display it on plixters.com and related social channels with credit to the name you provide. You can revoke permission by emailing licensing@plixters.com and I will remove the content where feasible.

Respect creators and sources

Credit photographers, designers, and brands when you mention or quote them. If you notice a missing credit on my end, email corrections@plixters.com and I will fix it.

Accessibility and inclusion

I work to make content readable with clear headings, alt-friendly descriptions on new posts, and high-contrast text. If you encounter an accessibility issue, contact support@plixters.com with details about your device and browser so I can address it.

Privacy in public spaces

Do not post private emails, DMs, or personal details about others. If you share your own contact information, you do so at your own risk. For data requests, contact privacy@plixters.com.

Children and sensitive content

This site is not directed to children under 13. I avoid graphic, adult, or shock content. If a minor appears in any imagery, appropriate permissions are secured before posting.

Consequences for violations

First violations may receive a reminder. Serious issues like hate speech, threats, or exploitation result in immediate removal and a block. Attempts to evade moderation will lead to permanent restrictions.

Appeals

If your comment was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email community@plixters.com within 14 days with the exact text you posted and a brief explanation. I will review and let you know the outcome.

Updates to these guidelines

I update these guidelines as the site evolves. The version posted here is the one in effect. Continued participation means you accept the current guidelines.
